48North Blog Latitude Reduction

48 North article

August 3, 2016

I’m excited to say that I’ll be writing for the local PNW magazine, 48 North, along the way. We’ve been devout readers of this magazine for many years and it’s an honor to be asked to contribute our story.

My first article has appeared in the August edition of the magazine. You can pick one up in marine-focused places in Seattle, subscribe (at a very affordable price) to have one delivered to you each month, or of course read it online. I’ll try to remember to post a link here when a new article appears.

There should be a link in the post that leads you to the “current edition” section of their webpage – you can also go to 48north.com and click on the August magazine. The link will always send you to the current edition, so if it’s an older article, it will require some digging in the archives on their website.

John and Becca Guillote

Becca is the writer. She tells vivid stories of authentic moments, highlighting the beautiful, dangerous, dramatic and hilarious with grammatically correct sentences and her tongue held firmly by her cheek.
John is the photographer. He portrays the layers of history, emotion, spirit and culture in each moment through his application of light, perspective, and detail. He also takes pictures.
