Gin Rummy
I’ve started a page (it’s right here) about our ongoing cruise-long Gin Rummy tournament in order to up the stakes and allow you to have a good laugh at us along the way. Each pre-determined leg of the journey will be a new game with the loser required to complete the wager at the next port.
But we need your help coming up with the wagers for each game. The guidelines are:
- It can’t cost money
- It can’t involve cleaning or doing the dishes (it just wouldn’t be good for the relationship….)
As a starting point, the first wager was that the loser must jump in at the next port. That works well as a bet around here since the water is a refreshing 58 degrees. But as we move south, that will not be much of a punishment. So! Get that creativity working and leave your ideas in the comments.

Eat the most disgusting part of the lobster, salmon, etc -whatever kind of seafood you find out there. (Since I know nothing about seafood, I’ll leave the details to you guys.) 🙂
